La Bonne Auberge

We liked being able to stroll or bike around the neighborhood, and the bakery, cheese shop, and market were all easy to reach on foot. The garden was lovely for relaxing, too. My wife and I stayed for over a week, and our room was very clean. Everyone was friendly.

We were three people with all our travel gear in a really small room. We had booked two nights, but at 9:30 the hotel called after just one day and said we had to check out right then. They said it was dirty. I went back in and saw that wasn’t true, there was just a lot of our stuff. Minus one star.

The owner, Madame Corinne, runs this cozy place with so much love. It’s an amazing third-generation business. We’d love to come back. Highly recommended.

At 75 euros for two, I found it too expensive and couldn’t see why it cost that much. Breakfast wasn’t included, and the rooms are simple. It’s far from the center, though this isn’t Paris. I didn’t have another option at the time, so it was an okay choice, but if you have time, look for somewhere else.
