The house is peaceful, with magical views into the forest behind it that shift with the light throughout the day. We had a wonderful two-week stay in July ‘18, and the hosts were so helpful in pointing us toward things to do and adventures around the area. My family of five had plenty of room, and the house could easily fit several families, couples, or friends. There are lots of comfortable beds, places to sit and eat, a well-equipped kitchen, a good-sized TV, and a stereo you can connect to with Bluetooth. Outside, there’s a gated pool, a yoga or workout studio, lounging areas, a BBQ, storage for surf and SUP gear, a board shed, and off-street parking for several cars. The location is ideal for enjoying the Seignosse / Hossegor area. Le Penon beach is a quick bike ride or walk away for food, drinks, shopping, surfing, skating, or the water park. A bit farther north or south are other great surf spots, including Les Bourdaines, Les Estagnots and Casernes. Highly recommended.

It’s a fantastic 15-minute walk to the ocean. The rooms have very comfortable beds, plus a private shower room and toilet, which is pretty rare. The house could use a good refresh, though.
