A really unusual place, and proper glamping. It works brilliantly for families and for groups of friends without kids. The international staff were wonderful, and the local staff were so kind. Highly recommend it if you’re after something off the beaten path.

There’s plenty of space, fresh air, and quiet, which made for a very relaxing week. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we especially appreciated their extra effort to help us watch the Euro football final. The cabin was comfortable, and since we mostly ate together as a family, the large fridge/freezer and dishwasher came in handy. The kitchen was fully equipped and thoughtfully arranged. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Everything was generally as described. There were just a few things that could be improved, which I’ve already mentioned to management.

We came as a family for the second time and will definitely return. It’s a beautiful spot, with a lovely swimming lake and a nice pool. In good weather, it’s great for kids, and there’s fishing, tennis, and other activities on site. The outdoor bar is a relaxing place to stop, with drinks and light snacks available all day. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and great with children. We needed three bedrooms, so we booked the family cottage, but it’s expensive for what you get. At €200 a night, towels still aren’t included, and there’s no hand soap in the bathroom. You’re expected to clean before leaving to avoid an €80 charge, yet they don’t provide a proper set of cleaning supplies. For a place aiming at a high-end experience, charging extra for these small but important things makes no sense. It’s annoying to pack cloths, cleaning products, and soap just to wash your hands. Get those details right and this place could be amazing.

The pools are first class, and swimming at the beach and in the lake was lovely. It’s a lovely setting for a campsite, with good caravan facilities and plenty of space in June. There were lots of Dutch guests in caravans and chalets, so everything was clean and working. Toilet paper was provided. The staff were very obliging and spoke several languages. There’s a good restaurant and bar, and bread is available at 8.30 am.

The natural surroundings are beautiful, and the night sky is excellent for astronomy and sky photography. It’s a small Dutch-owned campsite, with about 50 pitches that are a good size and convenient. There’s a little pool and playground, plus three lakes for different water activities. The third lake is great for kids’ fishing, so bring your fishing gear. There’s also an activity program with pétanque and other things; children get a badge and some free snacks and drinks when they take part. If you’re willing to drive a bit, there are plenty of nice chateaus, towns, and activities nearby. The sanitary facilities are good. Just remember, reception closes between 12pm and 3 pm.
