Our “superior room” looked out onto a tiny, quaint French street, and we heard no traffic. Half board was a great choice: dinner was a superb, gourmet-level three-course meal, and breakfast was great too. The chef was fab. And then there was the full moon rising over the rooftops. This place is marvelous!

There were ten of us, with four children under 12, and we were well accommodated. The best part was eating dinner outside. The food was simple but beautifully cooked, and our four grandchildren loved the whole experience.

Lunch took two hours, and the food was average. Service was awful. We waited 20 minutes to order, another 20 for the appetizers, then another 20 for a second bottle of water. It wasn't even cold, and we'd asked several times. At this price, I expect good service, for things to arrive after one request, and for allergies to be taken seriously. Getting the check took another 20 minutes. I asked three times, then went to the manager and said I'd leave if it didn't come within five minutes. She said she was too busy and I wasn't the only customer, in what felt like the usual arrogant French attitude. I nearly lost it. A great way to start a vacation. As someone from Senlis who knows restaurants, trust me and speed up as you approach this place. Spend your euros or dollars at any other restaurant!

A cozy hotel with a creative, tasty menu. The breakfast was simple and good, though there wasn't much choice. If you come here, make sure to pick up one of their liquors down in the Cave.

*Restaurant review only* A lovely French restaurant with creative dishes and delicate flavors. The lunch specials are worth trying.
