The rooms felt roomy and were clean, with lovely surroundings and hosts who made us feel welcome.

Really great.

The bread at breakfast was especially good, fresh from the baker that morning after the owner picked it up. I had a lovely stay and will definitely come back ❤️. I can't make sense of the ungrateful, disrespectful, and false remarks some other guests left. Maybe they expected the owner to treat them like royalty.

The room itself was roomy and comfortable, and it's a lovely house. They accepted my last-minute booking, which I appreciated. Still, our welcome was cold, and when I asked about towels, the response was, "Oh? I forgot." Luckily we'd brought our microfiber cycling towels. The landlady went out while we were shopping by bike, and when we got back there was nobody around or any sign telling us which room to use. We waited 45 minutes in the dining room, then found a room that looked ready, showered, and ate the food we'd brought in the dining room. That worked out, since she didn't return until 8:50 p.m. Breakfast was meant to be at 8:30 a.m., but that seemed too early for her, so the basic bread and two croissants weren't put on the table until 8:50. It's a beautiful place, but the landlady didn't seem suited to running this kind of place.
