The hosts clearly care about every detail here. They were warm, funny, and kept in touch really well, even though we barely knew the local languages. We had plenty of laughs sharing meals in the restaurant, where the food was lovely and either made in-house or sourced locally. The village is peaceful, yet it's ideally placed for Europa Park. Best place we've stayed in Europe so far.

We picked this hotel for a trip to Europa-Park, about a 30-minute drive away. The room was clean, breakfast was good, and the owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A very pleasant stay.

The meal was simple, honest, and really good, with no hint of pretension. We found tête de veau, escargots, and a proper Alsatian roasted pork knuckle with fries on the menu, and a carafe of local wine was reasonably priced too. The dining room is chic and welcoming, while the prices stay affordable. That's the fun of Alsace: you can wander into an unassuming village restaurant without doing any research and find a place like this. If you're in the area without a reservation, it's worth giving it a try.

We spent three nights at this lovely guesthouse and will definitely come back. The bed was very good, and the room felt comfortable and was heated really well. We were greeted warmly and looked after attentively. Breakfast was excellent and generous, and the restaurant menu looked very tempting too.
