The hosts were warm, and the village is really charming. There’s a lovely place with a big common area, which we had all to ourselves, and a fully equipped kitchen. Cathy even put out a cot for our baby.

The shared spaces were inviting, from the kitchen and living room to the dining room and terrace. Everything was tastefully decorated and comfortable. We stayed for a week at Gîte Les Aires Passagères in Sernhac, and had a wonderful time. There are four beautiful bedrooms, all with their own bathroom or shower, and the gîte is comfortable throughout. The shaded garden has lovely trees, plus a secure swimming pool with quality sun loungers. The hosts live next door, so they’re around and kind, but still discreet. Before we arrived, it was easy to communicate with them. Cathy was expecting us, welcomed us, and showed us around the gîte and garden. I highly recommend it.
