The house was nicely decorated, and the whirlpool tub was good. But there was no internet coverage inside, and I wasn't told whether Wi-Fi was available. There were no signs about it either. It was a disaster, and I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if you're arriving by plane with no food or drinks. There's nowhere nearby to buy any, and they really should warn people. A couple arriving by car might be okay, though the other problems still apply. The location felt like the middle of nowhere. I had to spend €12 each way on Ubers to Val d'Europe, the nearest shopping center, to get food for my children and bottled water for my baby's bottle. The terrace and garden were completely dark and scary to go out in. Inside, the house was like Winterfell. What kind of heating is that? The sofa bed in the living room was impossible to sleep on. I booked for two girls, a baby, and two adults, but ended up on that sofa bed myself. What a night! I've attached photos. Getting into the apartment was like an escape room, with so many doors and codes that even Alcatraz doesn't have that many. They charged me for a crib, but it didn't even have a mattress. And ten days later they still hadn't returned the €350 deposit they made me pay. €350 for “Security,” a deposit? Not even the Ritz asks for that kind of money!

We were left stranded. At 7:34 PM, we still hadn't heard anything, even though we were meant to get into the accommodation at 4 PM. We'd come a long way and waited outside for an hour in 30-degree heat. I called the host repeatedly and got no answer, just an email telling us to pay to enter. That was unacceptable when he'd stopped answering the phone and we had no proof the refund had actually gone through. We'd found the listing on Airbnb only two days before the date and asked the host if we could agree on a different one. He said yes, so we paid through the website he gave us and trusted him. Then, an hour before our scheduled arrival, he cancelled. When we called for an explanation, his reason didn't make sense, and he decided to reinstate the booking. But a refund had already been issued, so we had to pay the Airbnb amount again. Before doing that, we asked for proof of the refund and received a pretty suspicious email. We didn't think much of it until we arrived. I strongly advise against staying here. Beware, SCAM!!

You've only confirmed what I thought: you're someone to avoid. You keep slandering me. How immature! The least you could have done was apologize. If this continues, we'll take it to the appropriate authorities again. P.S. I called the police, the neighbor apologized, and Airbnb refunded me…
