The biggest concern was a smoke incident in the hallways. A younger family member sent us a photo and said children were running out coughing. We first wondered whether it was an AI image, but when we returned, the hotel smelled of smoke and some was still visible. It smelled like burnt toast. Guests on the upper floors hadn't been notified, according to people we spoke to. My nephew went to my mother's room to stay with her, and her alarm didn't go off. The rooms are a good size, and from the top floor you can see parts of Disney and its drone and fireworks displays, depending on which side you're on. The hotel is across the road from a mall with a supermarket and lots of restaurants, handy if you want to avoid Disney food prices. I also liked how close it is to the parks, about a 15-20 minute walk to both, which is nice compared with the crowded morning bus. But the USB ports in the bunk bed room didn't work, and the aircon didn't either. Lots of reviews mention the aircon. Reception has fans, but they can run out.
