Aparthotel Adagio Serris - Val d'Europe

Val d’Europe and several places to eat are close by, and walking to Disney takes around 20 minutes. In winter, though, that walk is dark and not very enjoyable. We booked mainly for the free shuttle, but it doesn't run in the middle of the day. The morning and evening trips were fine, but we couldn't easily go back to rest before returning for the fireworks, and nobody clearly explained where to catch the bus back from Disney. We stayed three nights in January with our kids. Check-in was a good start: the receptionist was kind, let us in early and put us near our friends. Breakfast had a decent selection of cold food, including cheese, bread, pastries, yogurt, cereal and fruit. The hot choices were few and weren't kept up well, and the coffee was okay but weak. The room had some drawbacks. The bathroom and toilet were separate, the bathroom radiator didn't work in the winter, and the sofa bed felt worn and unsteady. There was no lamp beside it for reading. Our key also kept needing to be remagnetized after trips to Disney. Staff varied, with some very helpful and others seeming disengaged. For the price, the hotel was okay, but for a winter visit with a family counting on a daytime shuttle, we'd pick somewhere else next time. The 7.9 rating on booking com seems generous given our stay.

We had everything we needed in the one-bedroom apartment, and there was plenty of space to relax. It was a comfortable fit for our trip. We picked this off-site place near disneyland paris after hearing recommendations, and were glad we did. The park is a 15-20 minute walk away, or you can take the shuttle. We'd happily stay again.

My family really liked having self-catering facilities, since we have several different allergies. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Just note that stays under a week don't include daily room cleaning unless you request it and pay a fee. The location worked well for Disneyland Paris. There's a shuttle to the park, though taking an Uber was easier for my family. A two-floor mall with a supermarket downstairs is nearby, and the designer village is just under a 10-minute walk from the hotel. We had a good stay.

The top-floor room was really peaceful. We didn't hear neighbors or people passing all night, and the Wi-Fi worked well apart from one outage of about 10 minutes. Reception staff were lovely and explained everything; there was free water, coffee and coloring stuff for the kids, plus a small shop for snacks and drinks. Our room for two adults and two children had loads of space, with a separate double bedroom and bath. The beds were spotless and incredibly comfortable, the best sleep I've had in ages. The sofa bed wasn't set up when we arrived. Reception said we were expected to do it ourselves, and there were clean sheets, pillows and a duvet in the wardrobe. The kitchen had what we needed, including two dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid and cloths. There was a kettle, but no tea, coffee or sugar. We didn't get a room clean during the stay. We were rushing out in the mornings and hadn't put out the door hanger, so I think that was on us. Some carpet stains and ordinary wear were visible, but the laminate and surfaces were clean, and the fresh bed linen mattered most to me. For a cheaper alternative to Disney hotels, this location is great. We walked to Disney a few times, around 10-15 minutes each way, and found the route easy. The shuttle outside the hotel reliably came in the mornings, but it failed to turn up once when we were heading back around 8 pm. After the fireworks at about 9:30, it was packed to the point that people were squeezing and trampling to get aboard. They really need more than one shuttle then. A huge shopping center is about a 10-minute walk in the other direction; on weekends it was extremely crowded and overstimulating for the children, though there was lots to eat and shop for. I was worried after reading the reviews, but we had a really nice stay and would return if we visit Disneyland again. If you're coming and feeling nervous because of the reviews, don't be ♥️xx
