The house looks great and the location is good, with shops close by and Disneyland just 10 minutes away by car. It can sleep 12-15 people comfortably, and the big open kitchen has plenty of seating. Staff were helpful and gave us a late checkout for free, which was kind. Shampoo and other amenities were provided too. But there were a lot of problems. The place felt very lived in and dirty: the oven and fridge hadn’t been cleaned in a while, the couches were disgusting, the showers weren’t clean, and we even found kids’ clothes in a cupboard. We had to buy cleaning products and toilet paper ourselves. There are three showers, but only two work, and just two toilets for a house that holds 12. The pool, despite the “pool house” listing, was green and disgusting. There were safety issues as well. Metal was sticking out of the steps at the entrance, and wires and plug sockets were hanging out. The electricity went off about five times on our first night, sometimes for more than 30 minutes. A lot of things were broken or dirty. We had a great time, but this is an honest review: the house isn’t up to a decent standard, and there are hazards that could cause someone an accident. We paid a lot and still didn’t get a clean house, which is sad. With a proper clean, repaired electrics, and a few other fixes, it could be a hidden gem, but there’s a lot that needs attention.
