We got to dress up in costume and have medieval meals right there. The whole place had a fantastic medieval atmosphere.

Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were so kind and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. The B&B is in a tiny village of about 200 people, surrounded by the lovely countryside of Southern France. Our room was beautiful, and the setting was quiet even though it was in the center of the village.

The locals are really welcoming to visitors, and the town itself is very quiet. There’s a bar in the center with reasonably priced drinks and food. The accommodation is privately run and peaceful. The landlady was friendly and very helpful, and speaks English, Spanish, and French. Breakfast was very good and included, while dinner can be arranged at the house if you order ahead.

The room was spotless and peaceful, and both breakfast and the other meals were hearty. Bénédicte and Terry gave me a really warm welcome. They’re passionate about medieval history, and there are even some lovely secret swimming spots 😉
