The chef and his wife were so warm, and they spoke about the food with real passion. We had excellent service in this lovely little restaurant. The lamb was incredible, so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Definitely worth a visit if you're near Mont St Michel.

After a visit to the very touristy village of Le Mont Saint Michelle, staying here felt like a great choice, especially with such an affordable price. Auberge du Terroir is just 7 km away, in the middle of the countryside, and Madame Annie runs it exceptionally well. She's capable and very sweet. The property is made up of two buildings set among green gardens, and one looks out over the restaurant and breakfast room. The rooms are spotless and well furnished, though there is no elevator. The bathroom is spacious and has a few thoughtful little comforts. Dinner and breakfast were both perfect. The food comes from Madame Annie's farm or nearby farms. The jams, butter, cheese, and bread were especially wonderful, and the other products were good too.

Not far from Mont Saint-Michel, this little inn is so calm and welcoming. The gourmet food is both lovely to look at and delicious. It was a genuinely relaxing stay, the kind where you lose track of time. I'd recommend it without hesitation.
