The room was extremely basic, almost like a monastic cell, though it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had a strong flow of hot water. This is very much the budget end of the market, and the arrival process showed it. At first we couldn't get into the building to check in. We tried the intercom, but the local accent was difficult for my usually very good French to understand. Eventually a young guy let us in. After that, a six-digit code was needed for both the room and front door. We went to a supermarket later and found reception closed by 8:15, so don't arrive late. Fine for one cheap night, but otherwise I'd spend about more.

The WiFi was good, the A/C was nice and cold, and the beds looked clean. The toilet was so small you could barely walk into it, and the cleanliness otherwise was average. For a short one-night stay I didn't mind too much. The location by the train station was good, and the experience matched the room price.

The breakfast was nice, and the staff were genuinely kind. The frustrating part was the six-digit IT code system, which made things more complicated than they needed to be, especially checking in and paying. I'd avoid arriving after reception closes.

The room was tiny but extremely clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There is a private, secure parking lot, though getting through its entrance is very narrow. All in all, I'd recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beside a canal, an easy walk from the train station and town centre, and several bus routes nearby go to most tourist attractions and the lovely, safe beaches. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, with good beds and an excellent shower. The one drawback was the cigarette smell. We had to leave the window open continuously for two days, and even at the end of our four-day stay, it still lingered in the curtains.
