Valérie is always smiling, and she serves generous breakfasts with homemade jams. The garden is in bloom and has a maze you can wander through. In summer, the pool must be simply sublime. Highly recommended.

At €100 a day, this place was a disappointment. The bathroom was filthy, moldy, and uncomfortable, the TV didn’t work, and getting to the room meant crossing a garden that felt like a jungle. Breakfast was only a 5/10. By comparison, the Azur Hotel charged €92 for a modern room, clean, well-kept bathrooms, a working TV, secure parking, buffet breakfast, and a beautiful canal view.

Valérie cashed a security deposit check even though we canceled the reservation in time, despite the COVID situation. She didn’t honor our agreement, despite my trusting her. Her greed seems to have made her forget about respecting other people and their circumstances. I understand why she’s going to close her place. I wouldn’t recommend her if trust matters in your relationship.

Breakfast was adequate. Despite the bad weather, our room had no heating, and the bathroom towel warmer wasn’t working.
