Résidence Odalys Terra Gaïa

The building looks modern and attractive from outside, and it's very close to the beach. Inside, though, parts of the walls and corridors were dirty and smelled bad, and the atmosphere wasn't pleasant. The lift was very old. Our road-facing apartment was extremely noisy because of the railway. The apartment had decent equipment, but cleanliness was still an issue, with ants in the bathroom. This isn't a four-star aparthotel in my view, and we won't return.

The rooms were spacious, the gated parking was included, and the pool had a shallow end for kids. It wasn't crowded, and there were plenty of sunbeds. The beach and restaurants are only a short walk away. Around the hotel it's very open, and it was windy during our stay, so the balcony and being outside weren't much fun. Maybe the wind or a lack of water had dried out the balcony plants until they looked like tumbleweed. The pool wasn't clean either, with grease on the surface and plastic and hair in the water. Cleaning was otherwise sufficient, and the public areas looked nice and clean.

We've stayed here every year, but this will probably be the last time. When you've only got a week off, a 5 p.m. check-in pretty much costs you a day. This year they also stopped providing towels for longer stays of more than two days, and the service is very limited. If you're choosing the hotel for the area, I'd rent a flat instead. That's what we'll do next year. P.S. The contact number listed on Google is wrong.

The bakery on site was a real bright spot, with delicious food and friendly service, and the beach was only a few minutes away on foot. The apartment itself was large and had the basic equipment, but it wasn’t very clean. The building felt worn, especially inside the room, despite not being that old. The design was practical rather than attractive, the TV only had local channels, and the internet was extremely slow the whole time.
