The beds were really comfortable, and the owners were so thoughtful about my gluten-free diet. They even baked bread especially for me. We also had a home-cooked dinner and homemade jams. The building has been beautifully restored, and it’s in a handy spot for an overnight stop before crossing the Channel. Thanks so much, and I hope to see you again!

We had a lovely, peaceful night here before heading home to the UK. The bedrooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, and the dining room was a great place to enjoy dinner and breakfast and chat with the other guests. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed, even bringing out cushions for the courtyard garden so we could sit outside. It’s about 2 1/2 hours from Calais, which worked well for our midday tunnel crossing. The house has been restored with so much care, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

Jatin and Laurence have put so much work into this lovely characterful building, yet staying there feels effortless. The rooms are great, the food is super, and the hosts are superb. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. I’ll definitely be back.

The supper Laurence and her husband made was perfect, and breakfast the next morning was just as delightful. They welcomed us so warmly into their beautiful home and were wonderful hosts. A lovely place to stop, whether you’re just passing through or staying in the area longer.

We stayed here on our way to Reims. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and even looked up hotels for our next stop. Our room was nice, and we really enjoyed dinner with the other guests. Breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.
