We really appreciated how kind and welcoming the owners were, and we’ll definitely come back. The room was lovely and very clean, and the meal was just right, especially for such a reasonable price.

We come back to Catherine and Philippe whenever we visit Puy du Fou, and it’s always a pleasure. They’re kind, attentive and available, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is superb. We can understand why most reviews are so positive. For anyone who’s unhappy, it seems some complaints come from groups or families, or people who received special treatment. Paying doesn’t mean you can act as if you’re at home and ignore respect and rules, even when those rules are flexible. If you expect every whim to be accepted, including disrespectful behavior, perhaps a luxury place would suit you better. Thank you both, Catherine and Philippe, for welcoming us so warmly as always and keeping the real bed and breakfast spirit alive. Congratulations!

We shared a lovely dinner with our hosts and the other guests, in such a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere. The "Eugénie" room and the common areas are tastefully decorated, and the natural surroundings are so peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Vendée brioche! The meals were delicious, and Catherine is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was especially good, with fresh artisanal products and that delicious Vendée brioche. We also appreciated Catherine and Philippe’s advice about things to do nearby, especially their tips for Puy du Fou. We spent five days here, from August 7th to 11th, and left with lovely memories. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, the setting is completely peaceful, and our room was impeccably clean. We felt right at home and would be very happy to return.
