Too bad, because the setting is pleasant. The experience itself was deplorable, with exchanges that felt completely disrespectful. I’d avoid it.

My family and I have never been treated this way after making a reservation. We called directly at the beginning of July 2025 to book for three couples for a wedding on the weekend of 13-14/09/2507/25. We told them we had a very small, clean, well-behaved 7 kg dog who only sleeps when we’re away. The listing said dogs were allowed under certain conditions for an extra charge, and we sent screenshots of that information by message. It was admittedly a little late on my mother’s part, so we called today about tomorrow’s booking to give our arrival time. We had already explained on the phone that the wedding was at 3 p.m. The owner said arriving early wasn’t possible, and that even with no one booked before us, being “badly organized” was our problem. She said she had no reason to “take pity on us” and that we “should get ready on the train for our blow-dry and nails.” She then agreed we could arrive at 1:30 p.m., but called me 15 minutes later to say trust had been broken because she supposedly hadn’t known about the dog. She said he couldn’t stay at the accommodation while we were out. She also said she had “the kindness” to let us have her room, though we were booking for three couples and paying 85 euros per couple per night. She wouldn’t even let me speak because I was “disturbing her during her shopping,” despite being the one who called me at work. Then she wished me “a good stay in France.” WE ARE FRENCH FROM A GOOD FAMILY AND WELL-BEHAVED, UNLIKE YOU. If your old reputation has gone to your head, come back down to earth. There are people better brought up than you, who don’t make borderline comments like you do.

There are no houses around, just the countryside, exactly how I love it. The place is magnificent, the welcome was warm, and everything makes it easy to feel peaceful and serene.

The hosts were welcoming 😊. It’s a beautiful building in a magnificent, peaceful setting, and the bedroom and bathroom were both very pleasant.
