L'OUSTAOU

L'Oustaou has become a must-visit for me in Signes. It’s a friendly, welcoming little place, with a good dose of humor, generous portions, and hearty service. I love the mixed cheese and charcuterie platter, which is a real treat and great value. They make the fries themselves, the salads are excellent, and there’s always a little homemade dessert. The raclette and fondue in winter are divine, too. This family-run spot works exclusively with local producers for high-quality food. I’m always glad to stop in for a drink or a delicious meal, and I highly recommend it.

We made the trip from Marseille for this authentic restaurant and will definitely come back with friends. The owners were incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was just as good. Our raclette was delicious, with excellent local products throughout, from the cheese to the cured meats. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

The warm, homey atmosphere and local food are lovely. They use meat from the village butcher and serve cheese and charcuterie from the Alps. Come see for yourself, I’m sure you’ll love it! 🥳

We stumbled on this place around 1 p.m. after finding no open restaurants along our route, and were very glad we stopped. The owner was friendly, the terrace lovely, and the dining room was beautifully decorated in an authentic style I like. The food was excellent. I had tender duck breast cooked perfectly pink, from a producer in Signes, while Laurence had a pork chop of equally outstanding quality, with delicious fat and cooked just right. The homemade fries, La Flèche du Dévoluy white beer, and good, refreshingly cold tap water all hit the spot. I already regret that I can’t return for a while. We highly recommend it.
