Living with the previous guests’ grime, a toilet that won’t flush, loose door handles, and several-centimeter gaps around the front door sounds like your idea of a weekend bungalow stay? Then this is the perfect place ☺️. Apparently, hygiene and cleanliness don’t mean the same thing to everyone.

The surroundings are lovely, the campsite is quiet and set in nature, and the swimming pool was clean. The bungalow itself, though, was close to unsanitary when we arrived, as the photos show. It had beds for four, so the other two people had to sleep on cushion-covered benches. The cushions had suspicious stains and offered no comfort. The dishes in the cupboards were dirty, the floor was warped, a door handle was missing, and there was no sound insulation. There also weren’t enough staff.

We had to stay the night while passing through in our campervan, and got dumped onto a neglected, soggy patch of grass for a fortune. The place had a grim trailer park feel, with an awful mess and antisocial people around. Definitely not recommended. Unacceptable.

The pool we’d been promised was green and in a deplorable state. Inside our six-person bungalow, there was so little room that we could barely move without being crowded together. The power went out at least once every day, and a proper hot shower wasn’t possible. The insulation was so poor that I’m sick now, and the ancient radiators, older than my parents, wouldn’t have heated the place anyway. I spent the weekend there with friends. Don’t go, this place is a disaster!
