We left for another gîte after Nathalie and we thought we’d agreed on a solution, but a few days later she went back on what she’d promised and wouldn’t refund anything. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The house is clean and nice, but it’s very noisy, both from this apartment and the others in the same building. The photos mix this tiny house with other houses Nathalie rents. There’s no garden. There is a patch of land down the road where you can sit, but it isn’t next to the house, and the grass and river are alongside a public road, not part of the property. Very disappointing.

The owner was so attentive and caring, and we felt at home in this house straight away. The decor is thoughtfully chosen and works beautifully. We were all charmed by the gîte. My favorite so far. Thanks, Nathalie, and see you soon!

Our host had lit the fireplace for our arrival, and left honey and cookies under the tree. Such a nice welcome. The cottage was clean, functional, and very well equipped. It’s in a quiet little village, with parking opposite the entrance. You go in through a basement, which was handy for storing our things. I recommend it for a family or friends’ stay.

The region is lovely, with impressive mountains, lakes, castles, and charming markets. Our holiday cottage was spacious and pleasant, and the location was good. Nathalie decorated it with real taste and talent. She welcomed us warmly, gave great tips for hikes and sightseeing, and had a great sense of humor that made us feel very comfortable. A big thank you to her for everything.
