Lucas was warm and knew the region well, with real experience in the vineyards and cellars. His enthusiasm for champagne came through, and he made the day unforgettable, from Hautvillers and Dom Pérignon’s resting place to the stunning viewpoints, a semi-private Moët & Chandon vintage tour, and finally a private Dom Pérignon tasting. He’s an exceptional guide and a real gem for the company.

Adam communicated really well, and we had a great time with him on the tour. The stops around the region were wonderful. We learned so much from the champagne wine maker about everything involved in the process. Getting to taste and mix it firsthand was such a unique experience. It really is an art, and we’re so glad we chose this tour!

Our group of four had a private outing with Adam to taste champagne at three independent small wineries. There was also a three-course lunch with more champagne, made by a chef using ingredients from local suppliers and turning them into incredible dishes. Adam knew his subject well, answered all our questions, and clearly loved sharing what he knows about champagne. We’d definitely recommend him and the small-producer tour.

Stephane and Lucas tailored the tours to my interests, and both were wonderful guides to the champagne region. They knew a lot about its history, how champagne is made, and the changes happening there. You could tell they love both the region and their work. I highly recommend them as guides.

All four of us felt Stephane’s day tour was well worth the investment. Driving through the gorgeous countryside, especially in Autumn, we had easygoing conversations about French history beyond champagne and about current international events. The itinerary gave us an interesting contrast between one of the largest champagne houses and Konrat Champagne, a distinctive small vintner using organic and biodynamic growing methods. Konrat’s passion was admirable and contagious, and Stephane had a broad, satisfying knowledge base. The arranged lunch in a small village in the Champagne region was one of our favorite meals of the trip: delicious, intimate, and very much of the place. We’d highly recommend touring with Stephane.
