Ralf is always on hand with tips for outings, sights and restaurants, and the food he makes is the cherry on top. His regional cooking is on another level! Masrougier is a great place for a quiet, pleasant holiday by the splendid pool, with a magnificent view of the meadow around it. The beautiful B & B has a well-kept room and grounds, all the comfort you need, a full breakfast, peace and quiet, and welcome coolness on hot days.

We had a great week with the family, using this as a base to explore the region by car. Ralf prepared wonderful four-course dinners, and they gave us a nice chance to try chatting in French with the other guests.

The garden has lots of places to sit and relax, and the large grounds and pool are well maintained. Our rooms were very clean, and breakfast was very good. Ralph and Stéphanie gave us a warm welcome with an aperitif when we arrived, and everyone is welcome to join whenever a new guest turns up. Ralph is also easy to contact for tips on places to visit and eat. A peaceful Périgord bed and breakfast we highly recommend.

We met some lovely fellow guests during our stay, which was a nice bonus. It was our first time in a bed and breakfast, and we have no regrets. Ralf is professional, his cooking is divine, and his advice on places to visit and restaurants was invaluable. Thank you to Ralf and Stéphanie, and Floki, you’re the best! Our family room was spacious and very clean, with superb bedding. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Everything was perfect.
