The breakfast was a feast: eggs, charcuterie, a huge selection of cheese, croissants, baguettes, fruit salad, and fresh ham. Even the minibar was free. Our room was huge, with a comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom, and a soaking jacuzzi tub. The view across the river to the Citadelle was gorgeous. It's just past the bridge on the edge of town, less than a five-minute drive from Sisteron village centre, but wonderfully peaceful by the water. Waking to birdsong and that view felt like heaven. The place is friendly, family-run, and very well managed, with great value for money. A good base for day trips around the area, including Sault and Valensole for the gorgeous lavender fields in July. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

The evening meal was generous and delicious, and breakfast was just as plentiful and impeccable. We only spent one night, but it was absolutely worth it. The setting and welcome were lovely, and the hostesses greeted us with real kindness and friendliness, with their many cats and dogs around. It’s a charming change from hotels. We slept very comfortably and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it.

The animals are very much part of the beautiful grounds, with cats, dogs, and horses around, so you need to be fond of them. Our room was spacious, with a little separate sitting area, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. The place is run by a very kind mother and daughter. We’ll be back.

The breakfast, with local products, was fabulous, and the owner was incredibly kind. We had a remarkable suite in a beautiful setting and were greeted so warmly. If you want somewhere unique and love animals, we highly recommend it. A wonderful experience.

We only stayed one night, but had a wonderful time. The setting is gorgeous, the welcome was impeccable, and breakfast was very generous. If you like animals, there are very cuddly cats and dogs here. I recommend it without hesitation.
