We were passing through Sisteron and booked at L'Oustalet at the last minute. Marianne greeted us so warmly. The place is very peaceful, and we liked our room and its en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was generous, too. A great place to stay.

The hosts’ kindness was much appreciated, and the homemade breakfast was generous and complete. The Wi-Fi worked well. We stayed in the studio, where the sink felt too small. The bed was also too soft for the two of us to sleep well, which was a shame. It’s in a quiet spot on the heights of Sisteron. If you found this helpful, please spread the word 👍

This bed and breakfast offers excellent value, and there’s also a small studio apartment apart from the main house. Marianne is a welcoming hostess who makes you feel at home while respecting your privacy. You have the cooking facilities you need, plus a gas barbecue. It’s wonderfully peaceful, with superb views on one side over the southern slopes of the Jabron Valley and on the other toward the Baume mountain range above the left bank of the Durance River at Sisteron. For six euros, breakfast is generous and delicious. The Peipin shopping center is about ten minutes away and has all the amenities you need. There’s also a lovely walk in the Jabron Valley below, around the area of Mont Ventoux.

We felt very welcome thanks to Marianne. The room was comfortable, and its decor was original and tasteful. Breakfasts were excellent, with delicious homemade jams and pastries. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

My husband and I loved it! Everything was spotless, from the studio to the comfort and cleanliness, and our hostess had such a lively spirit. Marianne made us feel right at home, and the breakfast was incredible. Thanks again 😄
