After six hours on the road, the lovely swimming pool and its hot-water shower were just what I needed. The place was super clean, including my lovely room, whose window faced an orchard. It’s a real gem just off the highway, a great stop for resting before continuing to Italy. This family-run lodge gave me a wonderful welcome. The owner at the front desk showed me around with a big smile and even put my food in the fridge downstairs.

For a stop while passing through, it’s clean and the staff are pleasant. The shower was outstanding and the beds were comfortable. It’s a two-star hotel by the road, so what more could you ask for? I would’ve given five stars, but I fell asleep before trying the other facilities. That’s my fault, not theirs.

You can drive to the village center in about five minutes. The rooms and breakfast are very basic, and it felt a bit pricey for what’s included. You can hear everything in the hallway, which may be a problem if you go to bed early while other guests are still out.

The staff were nice and the price was good. I just couldn’t keep my medicine in a refrigerator in the room.

We got a good rate and had a nice room. The staff were friendly, and after a long motorbike journey I was glad to cool off in the swimming pool.
