In Soisson, Hôtel des Francs is a good choice. It’s well located, with parking, an indoor pool, a sauna, and a good restaurant. The staff were especially friendly and helpful.

The buffet breakfast was mostly okay, but the scrambled eggs were inedible. The hotel is very close to the beautiful remains of the Abbey, and you can see its two towers from there. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

8/10
We come back several times a year and usually leave quite satisfied. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. It’s in a quiet part of Soissons, about a 15-minute walk from the downtown businesses, with a nice spot to have a drink and a few appetizers after dinner. There are also three free electric vehicle charging stations in the underground garage, a very nice perk.

The reception team were fantastic and made lots of calls to help us arrange repairs to our motorhome. We had a very comfortable room with a terrace and a lovely view over the Abbey. It’s a lovely hotel and a good base for exploring Soissons.

8/10
The food was a bit underwhelming, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, but the rest of our stay was good enough that we’d return, and we definitely will. We stayed a few nights over our summer holiday. The staff were very friendly and the service was high quality. The hotel and rooms were modern and super clean, with a good location and a great view.
