There’s no food or other services available at all, though the chateau itself is great.

The swimming pool complex is only a 10-minute drive away, which made for a nice relaxing afternoon. At Château de Montrame, the people were always friendly and ready to help, and I was very happy with my stay. It’s a charming, peaceful place to unwind, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere like that.

The two young men gave fantastic service, and the rooms were very clean. I spent three nights at the castle, surrounded by nature in a really peaceful setting. I’d stay there again.

The garden is lovely, and the whole property has a lot of space. We stayed for a week and found it much cleaner and better cared for than on earlier visits. Rooms come at different levels of comfort and with different amenities, from austere to more luxurious, so there are options for different budgets. It’s affordable compared with other places nearby, and you can see the effort going into improving it day by day. The two young men who served us were incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. The management is flexible about how long you stay, and adjusts the price; for a longer visit, you can talk with them about an on-the-spot reduction. Telephone service is excellent and available in Spanish, English, and French. This historic site is worth considering for its tranquility, price, and caring management. Highly recommend!
