Pacha 2

The staff were really friendly, and the food was prepared well. We came as a group of six for a family dinner, ordered main courses priced around €20-40 and dessert at €10. It was good, though nothing especially surprising.

The setting is what brings people in, because the food was a different story. We ordered the most expensive item, beef to share, and asked for it medium to well done. The photos on the website looked great, but ours was tough and extremely fatty, with very little meat. What meat there was came out raw and inedible, nowhere near medium to well done. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. The manager seemed uninterested and left the staff to handle it without apologizing. I offered to pay half, but I ate absolutely nothing and shouldn't have paid at all. I even wondered whether they had chosen that meat for us because we were English, since it feels like English people aren't liked in Corsica. I won't visit this restaurant again.

We liked it so much we came back two nights in a row. It's a lovely little restaurant right by the beach, with a romantic feel, very polite staff, and fish cooked just right. I'd recommend it.

Le Pacha made for a lovely meal, whether for lunch or dinner. The ocean views and waves are wonderful, and the waiters were friendly and efficient. The electronic menu was easy to read. At a very busy lunch, the grilled fish was a little undercooked and the vegetables a little overcooked. The mixed fried seafood starter, dessert, cheese, wine, coffee, and digestif were all above average. We had a wonderful experience and can recommend the place without hesitation.
