The restaurant was the reason we chose this as a halfway stop on our drive back to the UK, and the meal was excellent. Xavier helped us choose wine to go with our different dishes. The room was good too, with thick towels, herbal teas, French biscuits, and fresh fruit. We'd booked by phone the day before, but when we arrived they had no record of it. Luckily, there was still a table free and it wasn't a problem. We had our small dog with us; one of their two dogs became aggressive toward her, but the hosts quickly moved the dogs to a separate area. That's why I gave four stars, though the meal itself was definitely five-star.

We paid 117€ for a tiny, very dirty room, and it was absolutely not worth the money. There were old makeup marks on the towels, spiders and other insects all over the walls, and hair across the floor. During COVID-19, you'd expect proper attention to cleanliness, but that was completely missing. Staff weren't wearing masks either. It was up to 40 degrees during our stay, so we wanted air conditioning to get some rest. The hotel advertised it in every room, but couldn't provide it in any of them. The room was also badly insulated.

The hospitality is unrivalled, and I love this place and its people. Such a welcoming restaurant, with an exceptional chef, and the Michelin star is well deserved!

We had a wonderful romantic evening for my birthday. The atmosphere was cozy and chic, the owners gave us a very warm welcome, and the dishes were divine. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. This restaurant deserves to be better known.

What a charming hotel, and a real insider tip for this region. The food and presentation were excellent, and the service was just as good. The staff were friendly, articulate, and highly knowledgeable, while the attentive, kind manager was extremely welcoming. I hope to be invited back. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.
