Villa du Sud

The pool area is beautiful, and the pool itself is fantastic, exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. We were in the Jasmin unit, which is small but well equipped. The living area stayed cool during the heatwave, and the beds were very comfortable. One bedroom has no window, but there are glass tiles high on the wall between it and the adjoining bedroom, which does have a window. The bathroom is small, very clean, and has a good shower. We also had a good, very private terrace. Getting to the cottage took two flights of stairs, then another flight to the pool. Carrying luggage and groceries up and down was a bit of a drag. With my limited mobility, the location wasn't as convenient as I'd hoped. The photos showed stairs, so I should have expected some, but I hadn't realized there would be two flights. Parking on the narrow street seemed daunting at first, but it turned out fine. I was disappointed that there was no basic dishwashing kit with detergent, a sponge or brush, and a towel, or dishwasher tablets. That would have been a plus. It was a good stay, especially for people with no mobility issues. Four stars feels too low and five too high; somewhere between would fit best.
