Only a 3-minute walk from the beach, and the residence was spotless and exactly as described. The person who handed over the keys was very pleasant, helpful, and quick to respond. When the blind broke on Sunday, a repairman came during the day on Monday. No problems at all.

The peaceful atmosphere, being able to walk safely along the beach at night, and the starry sky were what I enjoyed most. You don’t even see a sky like that in the mountains. There’s a restaurant on the beach, and the beach itself is free with plenty of space. It’s a great residence for families with children. The place has everything, except a corkscrew, which is essential for tasting the exceptional rosé wines. The tap water is drinkable, but I found its quality worse than elsewhere in Corsica. The entry key is at the nearby campsite, at Madame Nathalie’s; her phone number is posted on the residence wall.

We stayed one night, and it was a miserable experience. Our booking said arrival at 16h and departure at 11h, but when we got there they told us check-in was at 17h. We had to wait an hour in the parking lot in full sun with children and elderly people. They charged a mandatory 50 euros cleaning fee, yet there was dust on the towel warmer and dirt along the bottom of the curtains. The air conditioning didn’t work. Sheets weren’t included, which was mentioned in the booking confirmation but not in the site description. There were six of us, and their linen and towel kit would have cost 60 euros. The total would have been 237 euros for one night without air conditioning: 127 + 50 for cleaning + 60 for sheets and towels. We only slept there and didn’t use the kitchen, but after charging 50 euros for cleaning, they still expected us to take out the rubbish. We were clearly told we’d be better off going to a hotel for one night rather than bothering them, since they normally rent by the week. So why allow one-night bookings? Maybe because what they charge for one night is profitable for them. A hotel would definitely have been cheaper. The booking said the accommodation was non-smoking, but apartment number 3 smelled strongly of cigarettes. We were told all the apartments allow smoking. They charged tourist tax for children under 13, and when we asked for a receipt, they wrote on a scrap of paper that we had paid 56 euros for cleaning and tourist tax. There weren’t even pillow protectors on the pillows, which were very cheap and should be replaced. There’s no reception.

We’re leaving after 8 nights here with our 3 children, and everything went smoothly, from booking to the welcome. Special mention to Marylene, who was efficient, pleasant, and helpful. The residence is 200 meters from the beach, and Via Luna restaurant is right next door. We highly recommend it. Icard Family
