Camping Les Sables d'Argent

Surfers should watch out for the huge concrete foundations in the water by the campsite beach entrance. You can't see them at high tide. The site is right on the beach, and with a bit of luck you might get a pitch with a sea view. Our pitch was farther down by the beach, where the sanitary facilities were really unclean. They're also dated. The building near the pool is a little newer.

We were on a tent pitch by the ocean, and the campsite was lovely. It sits right on EV1, with bread and coffee in the morning and cold drinks at the little shop. They were very accommodating and lent us an extension cable so we could reach the power. There was also nice pizza in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay at this popular place. It's a short bike ride or walk into town, where there are cafés, bars, restaurants, shops and a bank. The beach is lovely and the sunsets are great. There's a barrier with a payment machine, plus toilet emptying, water filling and gray disposal.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great, very close to the beach. The cafe even served us food outside cooking hours. Excellent 😊
