The reception team were kind and patient, even though we arrived just before closing after a long journey from Brittany without the Royan Ferry. The mobile home was superb, very new and clean, with all the modern facilities. The bar, entertainment and pool complex were excellent too, and the staff worked hard to look after us. We chose this small-to-medium site because the facilities seemed a good fit for the number of places to stay. It felt very French and was a wonderful site. Communication wasn't always easy, so next time we might pick somewhere with more English speakers, though we did try our French with mixed success. Our 12 year old did his best to make friends, and the staff, including Joe from Wigan, went out of their way to translate during the big entertainment events. Well done, Siblu. This is another great site, and we'll try a different Siblu next year.

We've now had 35 holidays with Siblu, though the heading is wrong, as we stayed at Soulac. Mrs White and her team made us feel welcome and shared all the local attractions information we needed. Their English was excellent, and the other staff were friendly too. People in this area seem to be like that generally. We did have a couple of problems. The gas ran out while we were getting dinner ready. Reception was shut, but it was dealt with quickly. In the past, all mobiles had two connected gas cylinders and a simple changeover valve. Please require owners who rent out their homes to provide two cylinders. Gas never runs out at a convenient moment. The next day, all the power went off. It was restored soon, but we were told the aircon had caused the problem, and we couldn't use it for the remaining five days. The last few days were very hot, and we would have used it. We were given a fan, but it wasn't really enough. I shouldn't have to pay for something I couldn't use, so I'm seeking a partial refund. The mobile home was clean inside, and I expect the outdoor furniture had been cleaned too, but by the time we arrived it needed cleaning again before we could use it. Please arrange for the outdoor furniture to be cleaned on the day of arrival or the day before. When all you want is to sit down with a cold drink, having to do that job isn't much fun.

The team were excellent and sorted out any problems straight away. It's a peaceful holiday village, just a short drive from the wonderful beaches at Soulac Sur Mer.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Domain Du Solaic. It's a small, peaceful site that's clean and well cared for. The Siblu employees gave great service, as they always do.
