Residence Le Mondarrain

We stayed three nights in apartment E7. The apartment had everything we needed, and the bedding was very comfortable. They also provided towels and linens, a nice touch, and gave us a thoughtful welcome when we arrived. The residence itself is pleasant, with beautifully maintained grounds and magnificent mountain views. The area was quiet apart from a few residents who ignored the quiet hours after 10:00 PM. I'd love to return if I can afford it, since a week during peak season costs between €770 and over €1000.

The apartments are a good size, with comfortable beds, supplied linens, and a kitchen equipped for cooking and entertaining. There's a beautiful swimming pool with a safety gate, and parking that's small but seems sufficient. Check-in and collecting the keys are simple and efficient at any time, and checkout is just as easy. The residence is pleasant, though somewhat dated, and the complex as a whole is in rather good, even advanced, condition.

The apartment faced the pool and mountains, and its bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had good equipment. This is a comfortable, well-situated residence, with a heated pool and a quiet atmosphere. We had an excellent welcome, and the gentleman was very helpful.

The setting is lovely, and even in August the temperature is cool and comfortable, a real luxury after summer in Spain. The heated pool is a real bonus, and the mattresses are very comfortable. The apartments have everything you need and are perfectly adequate. It's a great place to unwind, and a good base for exploring the French Basque Country and the surrounding area.
