A real hidden gem 💎. We loved eating at the campsite auberge: the weekday Menu du Jour is homemade, delicious, and good value, and the team serving it is so friendly. The forest stays cool and is lovely for walks, while the lake is beautiful for swimming. One of our favourite places around here.
There’s plenty of room to camp, and the different levels of the site make it a nice place to stay. It’s tucked into the woods beside a little lake, not far from the village of Soursac.
I’ll hold on to such lovely memories of our week here. Murielle looked after us so well, and Max brought plenty of good humor to our walks as our guide. The whole team, just like the owners, was always smiling. Romain’s home cooking was delicious, and Lucie and Marjorie took great care of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Muriel, thank you for a stay that felt like pure bliss. The campsite has such a welcoming, friendly feel. Max was incredibly kind and brought so much energy to our hikes. We also loved Romain’s excellent meals, served by Lucie and Marjorie, always with a smile.
We spent the week hiking through all kinds of lush, lively scenery with Max leading the walks and activities. Some slopes felt steep, but it was still pure bliss. Back at the estate, everyone was attentive and quick to adapt to what we needed. The owners made a real effort to help us have a pleasant stay, all with a smile and in a relaxed atmosphere. The cook was excellent, and the two employees were very pleasant. A week I won’t forget anytime soon!
