The apartment is starting to look a little worn around the edges. Still, we had a pleasant, relaxing stay in a great location, with attentive staff and especially welcoming reception staff. The pool deserves a mention too: it's large and warm, and the way in and out works very well for small children.
What a lovely surprise. The golf course is beautiful and well maintained, with beautiful holes and a charming walk.
The pool was good, regularly checked and in a nice area, but this stay was disappointing. The place badly needs modernising. The rooms felt cramped, the Wi-Fi box hung from the wall beneath the TV and kept cutting out, and there wasn't a single comfortable chair. The dining furniture was hard, solid and very dark brown, with no cushioning. The terrace table had paint spots all over it, there were no chairs on the upstairs balcony, and the one wardrobe on the upstairs landing was meant to be shared by six guests. The toilet seat was broken, and the kitchen air vent didn't work. I could go on, but you get the picture. If you're not there to golf, I'd stay elsewhere. The whole P&V site is enclosed by the golf course, so there are no forest or nature views, just manicured lawn where people spend hours hitting a small ball and running after it, then doing it again. I've stayed in much better P&V holiday rentals.
A lovely, well-maintained course, and the people there are lovely too.
We stopped by to pick up next year's brochure, but reception was closed from 12 to 4pm.
