The welcome was warm, but getting ready was a real hassle. The bathroom is under the eaves, so you can't shower fully upright, and with eight people sharing it, managing the bathroom takes ages, especially when it's time to leave.

The quiet park and birds made our family stay at "La Choquerie" lovely. We were there from May 14th to 18th for a hot air balloon flight, and the owners had a fire ready to light, plus a homemade cake and a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. Their suggestions included Château Gaillard. The bathroom on the first floor was a bit inconvenient, though. We’d happily keep the place in mind for another stay. D. Paksoÿ

For our first time staying in a gîte, this was a lovely discovery. The renovated farmhouse has several small houses, each with its own entrance and private outdoor space. It’s a beautiful property surrounded by forest, with peace and quiet, and very welcoming owners. I highly recommend it.

The lovely owners, the forest and the birds make this feel like a magical spot. Just right for a proper rest, maybe with a castle visit too.

The owners were charming and helpful, and the place was clean with plenty of dishes. It's an idyllic setting for a quiet, rejuvenating break.
