Brit Hotel Morlaix

The first room we were shown smelled of cigarette smoke. In the second, the beds were uncomfortable and the sheets itchy, so we didn’t get a good night’s sleep. The room was otherwise fairly clean, tidy, and well kept. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but breakfast the next morning was a big letdown and didn’t feel worth what we paid. If you stay here, I’d suggest getting breakfast somewhere else.

The room was compact but had what we needed, with a modern, clean bathroom and a stylish shower. It’s motel-style, and there’s no lift to the first or second floor. The electric shutters were great for making the room completely dark, especially since there are no curtains. The place was easy to find, with friendly staff and free parking.

We’ve stayed here five times because it’s so convenient, with shops and places to eat nearby. It’s a simple, friendly place for a night before taking the ferry the next day, or when we arrive in France late.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were pleasant. Restaurants and a hypermarket are close by. The facilities were excellent, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. I also liked the electric roll-down shutters on the windows.
