That quiet canal-side setting made for a lovely walk into Saverne, about 45 minutes each way. Our basic room was clean and comfortable for a one-night stop, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast had meats, cheeses, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, and a coffee machine, plus a nice hot shower beforehand. The indoor pool looked so inviting, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. The hotel is just off the main highway. 🤩

The kids loved cooling off in the pool after a long drive. Breakfast was plentiful and great value, with a good selection. It’s easy to get to the canal for a run, walk, or bike ride, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A really convenient place to stay, with family rooms that sleep four.

There’s a locked garage where cyclists can keep their bikes safe. We found the evening meal in the restaurant great value, and breakfast was good too. The staff were extremely helpful, and the hotel is right by the bike path. Would definitely recommend.

A tasty half-board dinner with a good wine selection was a highlight. The rooms are well equipped, with good beds and linen and a practical bathroom. It’s beside the canal for cycling, with plenty of pretty villages nearby. A great fit for a business stopover or for exploring the area.

We were pleasantly surprised by our superior room. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly. They gave us keys for a garage so we could lock up our bikes overnight. Definitely reserve a table for dinner. The tarte flambée is amazing, even for vegetarians!
