Camping La Roseraie D'Omaha

There are plenty of places for children, plus an indoor pool, bungalows and pitches, and the facilities were very clean. We found the bar good too, and Quentin was always helpful and spoke English. Sylvie, Ame and Quentin work hard, and the owners made us feel welcome from the start. We’d happily come back. Thanks to everyone, and good luck with the wedding, Quentin.

Our pitch was a good size, and the toilets and showers were clean and tidy. The water was warm, with plenty of time to shower. We were welcomed in a friendly, efficient way. We stayed from June 4 to June 7 with our caravan, two adults, while visiting the D-day beaches. The campsite is well placed for getting to all of them. I’d recommend it.

Pets are welcome here, and the campsite is a nice place to stay near Omaha Beach and the WW2 sites.

A handy base for the historic sites and monuments, roughly central to the beaches, with Omaha about a 10-minute drive away. Small convenience stores are also around 10 minutes by car, and the larger supermarket for bigger shopping is about 20 minutes away. There’s a pool, daily kids’ activities, a small restaurant and bar, a little supermarket, and basic sanitary facilities. The shop didn’t have enough to cover our whole stay. I’d add hooks in the toilets for jackets and other things. The showers share one water pipe, so avoid the one nearest the entrance, which is last on the pipe. Keep in mind that only about two staff members speak English.
