The château is just two km up the road, so this worked really well for attending a function there. We stayed for two fabulous nights with our baby daughter. The owners were so friendly and did all they could to help us enjoy our stay, and breakfast was delicious.

We'd arrived at our first stop around 8pm, tired and hungry, only to find a miserable, uncomfortable place. So we got back on the road and headed north, hoping to find dinner, a shower, and a bed. At this little hotel, arriving at 9pm, we got a warm, understanding welcome for us and our dog, plus craft beer and decent plates of charcuterie and cheese with little fried potatoes. Glad places like this are still around.

The owners really tried to make sure we had what we needed. The food was delicious, and our room was quiet and comfortable. The price was more than reasonable too. It deserves more than two stars. We loved it.
