The breakfast was pretty good, and the hotel grounds are really lovely. Room service, though, wasn’t up to the same standard.

The setting is beautiful and peaceful, with huge, impressive buildings all around. Breakfast was simple, and the hospitality felt quite formal.

Several vendors told me they were hesitant to work at the venue, including the caterer and tableware rental service. The rules also felt too strict for a lively event with a big crowd. I think the owner would be better off turning the place into a museum. We rented it for our wedding, and were so disappointed. The buildings are charming, the setting is magnificent, and the services on offer are high-quality, but the owner's behavior spoiled it for us. She was around constantly from the preparations through the wedding day, intrusive and authoritarian, and kept making unsolicited comments. She even showed up during the cocktail hour and wandered around the room while we were having dinner. If you want a peaceful wedding, look elsewhere!

Our guests couldn’t get over how quiet and peaceful the Château was. They said it felt like a proper holiday. We got married there this weekend, and couldn’t have imagined a better place to start this new chapter. Huge thanks to Mrs. Gubian for welcoming us so warmly. She’s radiant and attentive, and thanks to you, we’ll treasure that weekend forever.
