Les Eaux Turquoise

We had a wonderful stay, and everything was perfect. The apartments are comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped. The owners live in the same house: a retired couple, a young couple, and two adorable children. Thank you so much.

A friendly place with a new apartment that’s clean, spacious, comfortable, and practical. The owners are welcoming and kind. There are takeout options on site if you order. Finding the place was tricky for me because the street names aren’t listed, which seems to be the case across the island and Guadeloupe. The address isn’t listed either.

We got there at 2 PM, the scheduled arrival time, but the person who met us said she hadn’t finished cleaning. We left our things and went out to see the island. When we came back at 7 PM, the apartment was still in the same mess: stains on the floor, hair in the shower, no toilet paper, previous tenants’ dishes still in the sink, and no sheets for the sofa bed. The fan had no guard, making it dangerous to use, and there were no shutters on the windows. We had to ask for both sheets and toilet paper. We asked whether the apartment had been cleaned, and the person said it had. She checked the bathroom and tried cleaning it, but it was just as dirty afterward. She said someone must have come in while we were out. Paying 50 per person for a place that wasn’t even clean is appalling. Avoid it. I can see why it was the only place available on the island. It’s a shame, because it has potential.

The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and competent. The boss didn’t say much, but did give us practical information.
