Chez Lionel

The house is beautifully furnished and tastefully renovated, and the owners were so friendly. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast and dinner, plus their great tips for excursions and winery visits. We didn't have enough time to explore the area properly. It was a wonderful, charming stay, and we'd love to return.

I came across this lovely oasis while cycling in September 2022. The family was warm and easygoing, the accommodation was a gem, and the food was superb, all for a very fair price. I spent several convivial hours in the spacious kitchen sharing wine and conversation with Oliver, the host, who's a real all-rounder. One of the best stops on my Tour de France. We were just passing through on our bikes, and had a pleasant stay. The old house has plenty of history and spacious rooms. Nadia, our hostess, was very friendly.

The homemade jam at breakfast was good. The rest of the old building could use more substantial work, especially replacing the windows. It's quite noisy because the place isn't well insulated.
