Aparthotel Adagio Genève Saint-Genis-Pouilly

The food was rubbish, and the people drinking outside were rude and unpleasant. They couldn't handle their drinks and were all over the parking area. It felt unsafe for families, and the hotel seemed unable to control its customers. The location is very bad.

The room had a view, and you could also see it from the parking area. It was clean, with a kitchen, utensils, a modular table, and folding chairs for eating. The air conditioning was below average and there were no controls in the room, though a fan was available if needed.

The countryside around the hotel is peaceful, and the location is good, with local shops within walking distance or one bus stop away. Receptionists were brilliant listeners, and Madame Melanie, the manager, was approachable and empathetic. The hotel is affordable too. By public transport, Genève Centre is under 40 minutes away. I suggest taking bus 66 from Pole Emploi to Porte de France, then bus 68 to Cerne, and tram 18 from Cern to Genève Centre. It's very fast.

The staff were quite professional, but the apartment was disappointing. There was mould in the bathroom, and it lacked basic cleaning supplies like dishwashing liquid when we arrived. We stayed six nights and had to empty our own bins, and the route to them wasn't even paved. At check-in, we were told the Wifi, aircon, and laundry were out of service. We then learned the air conditioning had been down for almost two months. I wish we'd been told before we arrived.
