Catherine made us feel right at home. She was friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a large garden to enjoy. We’d recommend The Clos du Piheux to anyone staying in the area.

Catherine was a great host, welcoming and friendly, and gave us some great tips for things to do nearby. The area around au Clos du Phieux is very peaceful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Breakfast had a good choice of juices and bread, along with homemade jam, everything we needed to get going for a busy day.

The table d’hôte was super, though it’s a shame it wasn’t available every night. Caroline and her husband were tremendous hosts and looked after all our needs. We had a great few days at les clos, which was clean and comfortable, and ideally located for horse racing at lion d'angers. Thanks for a wonderful stay. See you next year!

A lovely large garden or park, nice rooms, and a bathroom that felt like home. Perfect maison d’hôtes and probably the best deal around here.
