We stayed here on our way to the Loire valley after sightseeing in La Mans. It was our third Logis in three days, and the best by a good distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the value was very good. Our first-floor bedroom and bathroom were faultless. Getting to the room meant using a safe, modern staircase, which you don't often find in older French hotels. One thing to keep in mind for colder months: I couldn't see any heating in either the room or bathroom. We booked half board, though we probably didn't need to. The three-course dinner was enough food for two septuagenarians for about two days at home! I enjoyed every course. I haven't been to Italy since 1966, so I'll defer to my partner, who said it was excellent and genuinely Italian.

The staff were really welcoming and kind. The place itself is nice, though the rooms feel a bit old. The squeaky floor made me worry that moving around at night would disturb the other guests.
