The quiet nights and the chance to look up at a sky full of stars were what made the location special for me. If you enjoy nature and a bit of freedom, this place is worth seeing. There are only three yurts, with a shared kitchen where you can cook, and you can barbecue too. Breakfast is eaten with the family, who were lovely people. At night you can use the chamber pot, unless you’re up for walking to the 🚽. Maybe I’ll see you there someday, who knows!

The owners are very friendly, and after two days you should be okay. It’s a small place beside a farm, so there isn’t really a designated spot. You get a few cupboards, but no bathroom or microwave, and the toilets are five meters away. There’s no TV, just your iPhone if you want to watch something. Still, it’s a great way to get a feel for how Mongolian people live. Luckily there’s WiFi for Americans and other people coming from the city.

The homemade breakfast was a highlight for us: yogurt, jam and compote made there, plus very fresh bread and pastries. Nathalie greeted us so warmly, and the Mimosa cottage was charming, comfortable and well equipped. We slept wonderfully in the complete quiet and also enjoyed the pool. It’s a little paradise in Vendée. There are three lovely yurts on the property, along with a very pleasant shared room.

Even with the heat, we had a really enjoyable weekend away. The pool gave us a welcome way to cool off, and the surroundings were peaceful and pleasant. Thanks for such a unique experience.
